Amp tone suggestions

Hi There
Im fairly new to the Bass and ive just started playing in a indie rock band. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any good tone settings for my amp. Im playing through a behringer ultrabass BX1200. The dials are bass, low mid, high mid, treble and ultra bass.

Can anyone help??

Could you give us an example of the tone you're looking for and what bass you are using?

Im playing a Epiphone Thunderbird, and im after a rich bluesy bass tone. Somthinig that will accompany a distorted guitar well. The style of music im playing is Indie blues rock (bands like Black rebel motor cyclye club, 22.20s, gomez etc...)

Im fairly new to all this, so getting a good tone is a new world to me

Neck Pickup 100%, Bridge Pickup 90%, Tone 80%.

Low at 1:30, Low Mid at 12:30, High Mid at 12:30, High at 1:00 (like what the hour hand on a clock would be at that time)

Don't use the UltraBass. Then tweak from there for desired tone, but that should be a good start.

Used one of those in rehearsal for a while.

I agree with Saxnbass, stay clear of the Ultrabass.

Just adds mud to the sound, IMO.
