Amp wattage question

I'm getting a Shuttle 3.0, and was wondering, if I got a 200w cab (8 ohms), and the wattage was 175w, but then if I got another 200w cab (8 ohms), would it split the wattage 150ws into each cab, or would the cabs both need to be 300ws?

No, you're a bit confused. Each cabinet would get half of the owutput or 87 1/2 watts if your amp was putting out it's rated 175 watts into 4 ohms, which is what the combined impedance of your two 8 ohm cabinets would be when both are connected.

Is the Shuttle rated at 300 watts into 4 ohms? I don't know and I'm too lazy to look it up. I am supposing it does since it's called a Shuttle 3.0. If it does put out 300 watts into 4 ohms, then when you have two 8 ohms connected in parallel, giving you a combined impedance of 4 ohms, each cabinet would receive 150 watts.
