Ampeg 610 horn questio

Hello,

I noticed when I turn the horn up a "fuzz" noise gets more and more present through my sound. Does this occur with most horns or am I experiencing an issue that should be fixed?

I can tell that its working but in order to keep noise level low I have to keep my horn nob close to "infinite".

Tweeters are very revealing of distortion in the system, and if blown will themselves be very distorted.
