Ampeg b10??

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has experience or some knowledge about the Ampeg b10? I've found one for sell which is quite rare in my country. It's looks like it's from the seventies. 4x10 combo, missing grill cloth. How are these amps compared to a b15? What would be a decent price for a b10 in decent/good working shape? I searched the net and this forum but can't find any real info. I would mostly be interested in it for recording/home use so low wattages wouldn't bother me.

Thanks

Can you describe it a little? I've been using Ampeg for over thirty years and have never heard of an amp called a B10, is it a self contained SS amp? I saw a picture of one on the web in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland . Does it work? Does it have 4 covers over the speakers and the place wants 500 Euros for it? If so it is a late 70's with a white rocker switch.

sounds like you're describing the B-410. 2 channel, 120 watt solid-state 4x10 combo. has a sealed cab design rather than the tuned reflex design of the b15 flip tops or the b-115 (SS) combo. white rocker switches on a SS amp would put it in 1973-79 range.
