Ha, yeah they sound great used as cabs. That rig sounds kinda similar to using a a linked pair B100R's, but a lot better. Nowadays I pretty much just use one when I want a 4 ohm cab for my SVT-II for lower volume use. For bigger gigs I prefer my NV610 over using both.
Another cool variation is to stack a B50R on a B100R. The two complement each other wonderfully, with the 100 providing the low-end booty and the 50 adding more upper-mids and highs.
For extra fun, run your effects through the 50 but leave the 100 clean -- thus keeping intact that bottom end that some of those effects wanna suck out.
