Ampeg B115E Speaker Replacement

So my B115E 1x15" Cabinet speaker has kicked the bucket and i'm looking for suggestions for suitable replacements. The two heads i'd be running it through are an Ampeg SVT3Pro (~450w) and a Fender Super Bassman Pro All-tube head (300w). I primarily use my 410 neo Fender cab for most gigs, but wanted to have an additional 115 cabinet for adding on to a full stack for larger gigs or as a standalone cabinet for smaller gigs. I'm a total noob when it comes to understanding which speaker might work. I'd like something that has enough headroom but also sounds warm and clean. I've head that the Kappalite 3015 might be a good choice, but my cab isn't ported. Is this not a good idea? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Do a search on the subject of 4x10 plus 1x15. It's a poor combination no matter its popularity.

Eminence Beta or Delta 15a. They're the go-to speakers for use in vintage-style 15" cabs.

Jimmy, if he still uses the cabinet with his 4x10 he'll be replacing the driver again fairly soon.

Your B115e is ported. The ports are in the baffle - under the grill cloth.

I have an Eminence Beta in mine. It sounds great - and it really has proven itself durability -wise. And - it's only like eighty bucks!

I have a classic 115 cabinet with a bad speaker. Does any one know the excact replacement or if i go with an eminence should i go for a beta or delta?

The part number for the replacement is 86-511-08 8 ohms.

The Eminence Beta is still going strong in my B115e (which has a similar design).

That speaker is light, strong and cheap (and it sounds real good).

The original is a great speaker - but expensive.
