Ampeg B15 reissue question

Send a PM to JimmyM or jsingles, they are the new owners of Ampeg and so one of their jobs is to make sure former customers are happy ... they have a long hard road ahead of them to rebuild the Ampeg name. But I wish them all the luck in the world ... it was once a truly great thing. Cheers.

Check the latches on the cab. ( the ones to hold the head) I used to have to tape them when I used mine to record.
Kosmic, I've already been down this road with the OP in Justin's forum, which is why I told him to come here. I know nothing. And don't confuse the dude...it's just a fantasy amp manufacturer league We really don't own it. The LOUD idiots still own it.

Levitamin, where are you located? I don't have a solution for you, though the power tube makes sense to me given what you've said. I always wanted one of those reissues. If you're in my area, I've got some interesting trade bait.

As far as your noise goes, both of my "Late model Ampegs " have been in the shop for soldering issues.
It seems to be a common issue since manufactures no longer can use lead based solder in building amps.
Shouldn't be too expensive to run through a good shop.

Dude, I was just busting chops...sometimes it comes across a little heavy handed...sorry.
I'm in Portland RickenBoogie. It makes sense that it might be a soldering problem. I had a similiar problem with my SVT Classic a few years back. I had to have the ground re-soldered and it went away. That was more simple intermittent electronic pops and snaps though.
I had a soldering issue on a SVT CL and a SVT 350.
The guy at the shop said he sees them all the time for that issue.
