As to the impedance question, if your amp is 4 ohms minimum, using an 8 and 4 mixed equals 2.67 ohms, UNDER the minimum is bad. 2 4 ohm cabs equals 2 ohms, and 2 8 ohm cabs equal 4 ohms. That's why I said it was a bad idea.
