I have the ba108 and absolutely love it. Use it every day, much more than my big rig. I dont think you will go wrong. I think JimmyM uses the 110 in live gigs. Jimmy?
Used to use a V1 BA110 on gigs where schlep and stage size required the smallest amp I had, but I upgraded to the BA112 v2 last year. Was quite happy with the BA110 but I had to push it a little too hard on some gigs. Louder than you'd think a little 110 combo with 40w would be. For the money it's quite happening.

I also bought the same amp BA110 v2 around about the same time as you did. Been using it strictly for home practice and love how it sounds. I would like to try it out in a live setting at small intimate gigs. How are you liking it so far?

Very clean the max vol i use is 5 the scrmabler is a nice addition to fool around recomend 100%
Using mine with a passive Precision bass and a RC Bass booster. Sounds great! i cant go above two on the volume knob with the RC turned on. Great amp for the home! Kinda like what a Princeton Reverb is for guitars!
Why can't you go above "2"? Because of the space you're in or does the amp break up at "2"? Asking because I am contemplating purchasing one, not because I have a cure.......

s because of the rather small music room at my home. You could easily go to 5 before the clean tone breaks up. Its a great practice amp. go for it!

Congratulations on your new 110! I got mine in January 2020 to play my homemade EUB and it sounds really great! The volume is too loud at 4 or 5 so I keep it around 2 or 3. The Scrambler is fun but the real value is in the bass-mid-treble equalizer controls that make my instrument sound awesome. Wish I could play better! Guess I'll just have to practice more!
Mine has just turned 5. I use it every day and use it daily with guitar as well. Though I don't stand when I practice I really like the little amp in the stage monitor position. It has been flawlessly reliable. It doesn't have the biggest voice but has undeniably, the Ampeg voice and NO FAN to boot. I love mine.
Personally, I love this amp!
I've had mine for a couple of years and find it a great match with P and J Basses. The EQ is very responsive and the scrambler circuit introduces some nice breakup to heavy distortion.
I use just a touch for some tube grind. The tilt back feature is very clever and the ability to plug in an iPhone or other music source is great for practice as well as headphone jack for silent practice. The price is competitive.
All in all, a nifty pkge. There are lighter options out there but this is 34 lbs, still very manageable for most people.
Finally, I find it's tone to be what I'm looking to hear. It does not fatigue the ear. It's a winner!
