Ampeg ba115 question

I just bought an used ampeg ba115 an I'm trying to find a description of the 5 settings that it has via its knob. I went to ampegs site and downloaded the PDF manual, but it's only 4 pages long. There is no explanation of that knob and what the eq's are for each setting. Can anyone help?

Just put it in whichever position sounds best to you. I start with it in the middle and the EQ knobs set flat. That's a good position for most styles of music, and will let you fit well into most band settings. It might be too mid-heavy for some people set like that. Setting #2 is useful if there's too much midrange. I find that 4 is good if you need a brighter sound with more treble, and 5 is good if it sounds too boomy. Setting #1 is a heavily mid scooped sound that works well for metal or slap.
