Ampeg ba115 vs Fender Rumble 100

The Rumble 100 sounds great to me. I don't know what you guys are talking about.
I played two of them at two different locations. I liked it so much that I bought one.

I'd chose the Ampeg, unheard and unseen.

The Rumble 100 simply sux as a bass cabinet.
It has nothing below 100 Hz, and is easily drowned out.
My band uses one for e-drums.

The Link Removed doesn't look much different
than the Eminence KAPPA LITE-3015 15" speaker response curve.

Even the very best speakers drop off below 100 Hz.

Yeah, but the 3015 was measured by itself, in an infinite baffle probably. A ported cabinet would extend the response lower.

Incidentally, speaking of neos, at Musicians Friend the page for the Basslite says this:

Emminence recommends the Basslite C2515 as a replacement speaker for the Kustom Groove 215H speaker cabinet and the Behringer Ultrabass BXL3000, Fender Rumble 100, Ampeg BA115T, and the Ampeg B200R combo amps.

Hopefully that means that it would be properly tuned (more or less) if you put it into one of those combos.

I think what that really means is that it's a 4 ohm speaker like the one
you would be replacing.

I'm sure there's much more to it than just the impedance.

While the BA115 may be the better amp. I have gigged with the Rumble 100 with two guitarists, and it cut through just fine Plus, the lights on the Rumble are SAWEET.
