Ampeg Coffee Table.... :)

Not sure if this is the right forum since this is not really about tone but figured some peeps may like to see this...

I had an Ampeg G60 cab that I am not using so I got a little creative. Picked up a piece of glass the other night from Pier One. Figured I would have more money into it but they had this piece on clearance for $20! I stuck on some rubber feet I had collected from being in IT and laid the glass on top. Instant coffee table with character...

Are the speakers still in there? You should hook it up in a way that nobody will be able to tell, connect it to the loudest amp you've got around the corner from the room, and then whenever anyone forgets to use a coaster excuse yourself and play their drink right into their lap.

Great space saver! Wish I would have thought of that back when I was in a small apartment and struggled to find space for my gear in between gigs.

Leave for the gig, prop the glass up against the wall.

Good lord!!! Most of those old Sunn cabs were huge. In order to store them you had to create some type of alternate furnishing from them. You probably had a coffee table larger than most people's dressers.
