So...
I have an Ampeg BA112 - second one that I've owned. This is a 50 watt amp through one 12-inch speaker. It has an angled back for easy tilt-back application, which is a really nice feature. It has a parametric EQ as well as Ampeg's pre-set EQ settings, and a CD player/MP3 player hookup. Awesome and surprisingly LOUD little amp.
To give you an idea what it can do...
The first BA112 I owned was mainly for acoustic gigs, but at one particular "acoustic" gig, we did have a pretty loud drummer join us for a song or two and the amp kept up just fine. I sold it to a friend when I needed cash and he still uses it at home quite a bit. I bought a second BA112 when I joined a "quieter" band who, oddly enough, had two drummers (one kit, one aux percussion). I used it for practice and it worked splendidly. It was a pretty low-key practice environment - in a smaller-room finished basement and I was competing with a drummer behind a kit, an auxiliary percussionist, an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, and vocals. The amp was easily able to be heard in the mix with my '78 Jazz.
I bought it for $275 or so, but I'll let it go for $95 o.bo. + actual shipping (lower 48 preferred but willing to consider elsewhere if you want to pay for shipping.)
Why so cheap? Something's buzzing in it - could be something simple, but I don't want to bother getting it fixed since I have 3 other combos and an Eden head/Schroeder cab. I don't know the extent of the problem, but I can tell you it's more noticeable with low notes. I tried several different basses, new and old batteries alike, so I'm fairly certain it's the amp. If not, well, then you're getting a steal. Even if you have to get it repaired, it'll still end up being cheaper than a brand new one.
It's in pretty good shape otherwise. A couple pics are below:
