Ampeg Opto Comp type of sound

I really dig the sound of this one, out of all the compressors that I have tried, the Ampeg Opto Comp is the one that sounds closer to my definition of organic. I find its sound to be kind of bouncing, honey dripping ... should that mean anything. I am not an expert but to me this is not (only) due to a particular EQ but also to how the envelope is affected by the compressor. To my ears the Diamond Bass Comp and the OKKO Cocaine would be the closest in sound.

Now I wonder, for those of you that have had experience with the Ampeg Opto Comp, what threshold, ratio, attack, release settings should I use to mimic that bouncy sound quality on another optical compressor ?

Also do you know any other (optical) compressor that comes close to that sound ?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Thanks, yep, since the very first day ;)
I also believe that I have read all the threads that exist about compressors on TB and obviously the honourable OVNI website, great read indeed, this is probably how my addiction started and I am today proudly owning 10+ compressor :)
I like them all though I only found that bouncing sound to be pronounced in the 3 mentioned.
