Ampeg PF-115HE or PF-210HE?

Picking up a PF-50T this weekend for a good price on marketplace. I’m between snagging a PF-115HE or a PF-210HE cab for it. I play mostly small to medium gigs, a few larger ones. All my medium to larger ones have sound support with a DI out to the mains. I also own an RB-210 combo which could use one these two as an extension cab. What say you?

Based on that, I'd say get the 2x10 cabinet. You'll have a closer match in that circumstance, which reduces the likelihood the cabinets will be fighting each other (see numerous "mixing driver sizes" threads on here). I think I recall a thread on here yesterday, where the TB'er had the 2x10 and 1x15 Ampeg cabs and was having cancellation issues with live sound.

YMMV, but that's my input on the question.

I've not tried the 210 but I can give the PF-50T/PF-115HE my personal high praise. I've been steadily gigging (blues) with the rig for going on 9 years. 3 years ago I found a great deal on a pristine used 115HE, and I just had to do it BCIMO that stack is pure sex onstage. In all honesty the single cab with the 50T rocks and easily handled up to medium-sized stages, I just wanted the stack for looks. I normally take my Bassman 100T/410 rig once the stage is beyond a certain size, but lately I've pushed that using the stack on a couple of festival stages recently and it was great. BC the PF50T sounds so sweet when it's huffing and puffing, and the output transformer DI gets that to FOH, as you say. But I don't have experience with a single 115HE on a large stage. You for sure would need monitor support, or you would want it elevated closer to ear level, probably both.
P.S. re the PF-50T after nearly 9 years it has given not one moment's problem and is still on the original tubes and sounding great. I found a deal on a sweet NOS 12AX7 for v1 and swapped that a couple months ago, but just for the different color.

God I bet that sounds good! Looks great doin it too in your pic. Might have to get a second 115 when I’m said and done as well lol

I have a V4-B reissue that I run through two PF-115HE cabs, and it sounds exceptional. I think I just have bonded with 15" cabs more over the years, and these sit just right for me (with the horns off) and are a good value/performance proposition. It moves some air for sure.
Older picture, but you get the idea.

That Ampeg doesn’t make all their cabs 24” wide to fit the modern V4B or SVT heads is a crime! 😆 bet it sounds good though!
