Ampeg pf210 plus 210av??

Hello, I was wondering how you guys think a 210av would pair with a pf210. I currently have one 210av and was about to get another. But then I was looking at the pf210, it being 400watts by itself is nice. Would those two cabs play nice together? My heads are Ampeg micro VR and SVT 7

The voicing of the 210AV is simply beautiful, but so is the voicing of the PF210 , albeit a bit different.
Tough question: a save bet is to get another 210AV, it will improve your maximum volume quite a bit.

If you need way more volume, then two PF210HE cabs would come to mind.

The cabinets might work very well together or might leave something to be desired. You would have to try them and see. If you like what the AV is doing for you, a second identical cabinet will give you twice as much of what you like. Stack them on their ends for a vertical 4x10 and you’ll get even better dispersion. :)

the PF210 is so much bigger of a box that i suspect the AV210 would not be nearly as loud, so put together you might just mostly hear the PF.

If you like the tone of the 210AV, I'd get another. The second cab makes a huge difference!
As for the PF and AV together, may or may not work. As has been mentioned there's a power handling difference and also, IMO, their tonal profile is different.

Yeah most likely will get a second av for sure.

I used to have an Ampeg 1510he, 175watts. How do you think that with a 210av would sound? It's at my friends house, maybe I could try them together...
