Ampeg PF500/PF350 - part 3, I think

I have a PF500 and love it! Want to get 2 PF115HE cabs when I get the $. But I will never sell my B100R!!!!!

Its the B-15 vibe. Plus, if they sound similar and have similar vol response, then a single driver seems simpler to me, less to go wrong. Truth is I'm old school, dyed-in-the-wool 15 freak.

Also, I have an opportunity to purchase a used Ampeg SVT-215E (Made in USA). Not sure of the year, as I haven't had a chance to date it from the serial number.

Would this cabinet be a good pairing for the PF-500, considering the cabinet is 4 ohms?

As far as I know, there have been no revisions done to the PF500.

Yes. I have both the SVT 215E cab and the 215LGS (Gene Simmons) cab, and the PF500 works very well with them. On the ported 215's, the amp seems a little soft at first so you may want to play around with the compressor and some of the low mid freqs a bit to tighten it up a little. Once you do - it rocks.
