Ampeg Portaflex Stack

So I know there are already several huge Portaflex threads but I have just one specific question: has anyone used a PF500 head through a PF210 and PF115 stack? Does it work well?
Also, a PF500 through 210 on 210 stack?

Thanks!

There are lots of people that use two PF cabs that love it. Personally I would recommend two PF115 cabs, over two PF210 cabs. I would not recommend a 115 and a 210.

hey, there is a guy in the PF350/500 Part V thread that is going with a 115HE/210HE rig. Look in the latter half of the thread.

Personally, I am using just 1 115HE and expecting to add another 115HE. The reasons for this is mostly to keep the drivers the same, and to have a modular rig, but also - I personally have more love for 15's than 10's. But that's just me.

good luck

For what it's worth, I've got my PF115 paired with an Avatar SB112 and it seems to be a decent match. Can't tell whether it would sound better with matching cabs. Interestingly, when used alone, the 115 seems about the same volume as the 112. In fact, the 115 seems to be tuned more to the midrange and the 112 a bit more scooped.
