Oh, you really get my attention here…………
I own an RB112 and I really like the tone of it for folks and blues but it's clearly not loud enough when a drummer does his stuff.
I thought buying a second one just like you did but I have no idea how to use them both at the same time and the salesperson at my music store has no clue neither.
If you don't mind, could you please let me know how they are connected together, what cables I would need and can I use them without any pedals ?
I have been using a Headrush FRFR-12 powered cab for a couple of months and it's been great , but I have been thinking about adding a Rumble 500 combo for some gigs . 
If you can swing the extra coin, get the 800! I have the 500 and love it but wish I had gotten the 800! It is 9 lbs lighter, has speak on speaker out, and a pre/post switch for the line out! Those 3 alone are worth the extra IMHO! I hope your trials go well and you get a chance to try the models you listed (plus a few more for perspective; hint, hint!) in a playing/listening situation where you can really try them out. . Please let us know which amp you go with. Just to warn you, if you don't pick the "right" amp then the amp agenda zombies might attack!

I should thank you again Yahboy ! I just connected my Ampeg BA 110 from send to my RB 112 in return and boom !
Perfect sound I was aiming for. In fact, I get the best of both worlds : the punchy and clear mids of the 110 with the deep warm bass of the 112.
It will also be loud enough for my folk and blues band with a small "jazz" type of drum. As a bonus, the 112 is a bit deeper than the 110 allowing me to access the controls of the bottom cab easily.
Also a good backup rig on the cheap !
I have pretty extensive experience with the R100 and 200. A little with the 500. They're great amps, no problem using them.
But, I've tried just about every RB on various bass scouting missions at GC. I absolutely love the tone, it's a little cleaner, and a new RB combo is high on my GAS list!

I had the opportunity to A/B these side by side. All controls centered, swapping bass back &'forth. TO ME, the 500 toasted the ampeg in sound. Others will disagree.
If I may ask, would you say the Rumble sounds a bit more lively and/or less dark than the Ampeg ?
Ampeg fairly recently changed their drivers in some of their Rocket combos from Eminence to LaVoce. It is my understanding there is some difference in tone (notably darker) due to the change in drivers. I have not directly compared them. Has anyone had a chance to directly A/B the different driver spec-ed RBs?
Back home from the Cleveland area and I did order a RUMBLE 800 from Sweetwater , they are on backorder .......but hope to ship in a few days .
I tested both of these amps recently, with a bias towards the Ampeg before going in. The first Ampeg I sampled at GC had a very loud noticeable buzz, I figured it was just that amp, but they didn't have another one, nor any explanation. So I went to a different GC to test the Ampeg in stock there, but it wouldn't turn on at all. Dead on arrival. So I walked out with the Fender. I like that the Fender has a gain knob and better EQ; the tonal variations are across the board. It sounds great to my ears. Especially since my main gigging amp was an old Peavey workhorse that must weigh 100lbs, kind of a game changer. I haven't really pushed the Rumble at all yet, but so far I am very satisfied.
