Ampeg RB-210 with a PF-410F?

The RB-210 manual says the amplifier is rated at 500 W RMS into 4 Ohm when an 8 Ohm external speaker is connected. The built-in speaker is rated for 8 Ohms (two 16 Ohm speakers in parallel).

The PF-410HLF manual says the speaker is rated at 8 Ohms, 800 W RMS.

In this setup, the amplifier's power will be divided evenly between the internal and external cabinets, 250 W apiece. In terms of power they will be fine. Each speaker in the 410 will be getting half the power of the internal speakers in the RB210 (250W/4 vs 250W/2), but that shouldn't be a problem.

In terms of sound quality/compatibility, I dunno. Somebody with experience will probably chime in.

I’ve heard a 210 extension cabinet sounds great particularly the PF 210, I believe I read the 115 not so good. But I haven’t read anything about the 410.
