I saw these as well, I'm very interested as I was about to pull the trigger on either a portaflex 350/210 setup or a hartke HD500. If they're at all comparable with the quality of the fender and hartke offerings, they should do well, lightweight powerful combos seem like like the perfect rig for practice and most gigs. My main question is assuming the wattage ratings are peak, then what the RMS rating would be, specifically on the rb-210.

LOL...the Fender Bandwagon. Ampeg's had that look since time began.
Yeah I guess I'm way behind. But I do mean the < 40lbs, 500 watt, 210 combo. After looking into it more I see that the Rocket name has been around a while.
Yeah, mostly 60's guitar amps by Ampeg and a run of solid state bass combos during the 2000's that are legendary. And yeah, lightness does sell. Kudos to Fender for being competitive in that market. It's the biggest market, too.
I agree these are some welcome competition/ alternatives to the Rumbles. Compared to the BA series, all the weights are down, and competitive features- ext cab on the 115, fx loop on the 112, DI on the 110 and 112. Good job Ampeg! I sure don’t need another combo, but I want the 115!
