Ampeg Scambler Overdrive pedal

Anyone on here tried this pedal out? I’m just curious if it’ll really nail that Peg burn? My situation is I own a V4B with matching 212AV that’s my main gig rig. But I also have a good old Peavey Basic 112 and a TNT 115, both circa 2003-2004, solid USA made amps that I use for practices and smaller gigs. I love that Peg tone and burn and it’s hard to sacrifice that when using the other amps. I’m thinking of either A) getting the Ampeg Scambler pedal and trying that with those amps or B) selling the Peaveys and get a Portaflex 50T stack or Micro VR Stack. Thoughts?

There’s also the other pedal that Ampeg make

I own the Scrambler pedal. Sounds good, like a touch sensitive driven amp, and I use it with a Genz Benze Streamliner. Needs the bass signal straight into it as it seems to like a hotter signal. So I use it before my compressor.

Which one?

I have the big one (scr-di). It's to heavy for me to bring to gigs. I've gotten complements using it in the studio.

The tone of the overdrive is usable, kinda generic. It can be aggressive. I've seen someone play a song live with the scrambler. It's useable, it'll get the job done.
