As someone who pretty much just does studio work and has a mesa subway 350 with Aguilar cabs (and the amp has an xlr out) as well as an hx stomp and kemper, is there any use I would get out of this? I read about people running it in front of another amp and Im wondering why? I’d at least know I’d like to use it as a practice amp as well since I don’t always want to start up the other stuff I have

I have an SCR-DI on my home practice board. It sounds great and probably the reason I practice more.
The Scrambler section is not the best. However, a separate Scrambler pedal sounds really nice thanks to the additional settings, and even better w/ a tube boost. The SCR-DI is somewhat a one trick pony, but it does that well. I've used it in the studio which worked great but I prefer the extra tonal options of the SGT-DI.
