Ampeg SS-412ER

Hey whats up, I have found an older Ampeg SLM 412 cab (for guitar), does anyone know anything about this? It's sealed, and unloaded, I'm about to pick it up. Is it similar to the V4 cab of the 70's?

It's looking like this wasn't a very popular cab, either way, does anyone know if it can be made to do what old school V4 cab can do? It's unloaded so I would load it with new bass speakers. bumpity bump bump

Is it a straight cab or a slant cab? I think the SLM 4x12 guitar cabs were the ones that went with the Lee Jackson head, but there may have been others I don't know about. Either way, not sure it's going to be the same as the V4 4x12 cab, but could be worth a shot if you already bought it.

Nevermind, I googled it and came up with some pictures. Might work out for you, looks like it's a decent sized cab, just gotta find speakers that will work with the dimensions. Have you checked out JohnK's thread on his v412 cab? I wonder how well the eminence 12's he used would work in this cab.

Yeah corey that's what I was wondering? I'm looking for John to maybe chime in, but i believe it would possibly work. It's sealed too, which will probably give me that sealed sound I'm looking for.
