Ampeg SVT 3-PRO question

I just bought a used SVT 3-PRO along with a SVT 410HE cab. Always wanted an SVT and love the sound. However, when I power the amp on, it takes 15 to 20 seconds to warm up, and right before I get signal, there's an audible click sound from the head. After that everything works fine. I've read some people have this problem associated with a speaker pop. I don't hear that, or at least it's quiet enough to not be obvious. Since I've had very little experience with these amps, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is normal or if I should be worried about my new amp being a dud and thinking about returning it or getting it repaired?

Mine does that too and I just got mine about a month ago. I did have the first one they sent me returned because not only did it pop extremely loud during warm up but it also popped and cracked all during playing it. Other than that these are amazing amps.

I owned a 3 Pro for about 6 years, and mine did the same. Never had a problem out of it. As I remember, this is normal.

It takes a few seconds for the preamp tubes to "warm up". After the timer runs down the click is the mute relay so so you don't get the power on/ power off thump in the speakers (SS MOSFET power amp). All working as designed.
