Ampeg SVT 7 PRO ............ Micro Amp?

I purchased the SVT 7 pro about two weeks ago and I'm impressed with the sound and build quality of the amp. I'm an original SVT owner from the 70's which I later sold for one of the original SVT-3 amps back in the 90's. Other amps that I own are: Mesa Walkabout and the GK MB2-500. My primary basses are a fretless Roscoe SKB-3005 and fretted Roscoe LG-3005.

The SVT-7 does have a nice sound. Although I don't think it sounds any better than my SVT-3 did.

Does it bother me that it's made in China? Not at all. I don't think Americans can solder any better than Chinese. Besides, my American made SVT-3 was constantly in the shop. I don't think I could go 2 years without a repair. And my original SVT (with 13 tubes) amp, was always down with repairs. So I'll by the China made stuff. I haven't played out with it yet but have used it at rehearsals and I have no complaints.
