Ampeg SVT Micro Stack

Pretty nifty looking. GRANTED, that is not a real picture by rather a drawing as someone mentioned before (I assume it was done by the same method that many of their manuals are - looks almost the same style), it could look a bit different in reality. I'd get one for the kicks of it, for home use... if I had the cash.

And speaking of cash, I severely doub't they'll charge less that 400 for it. :rollno:

Man, They're probably going to unveil this thing at NAMM too... GAH! I SHOULD HAVE GONE THIS YEAR! :bawl:

the head MAP is 399,
cab MAP is 299.

THANKS for the pic. Much smaller than I imagined. I like the idea of the cab. I'll pass on the head... that cab might be fun to match up w/ my Sovtek MIG50B tube head (proof that good tube amps CAN come in small packages).

err ...
if i would go ampeg .. i'll choose prolly other svt heads instead of this weaker one :)

i guessed after seeing what was offered in naMm, there's much more compact head+cab combo from other companies that might stand better though ..

Two 12ax7s and two 6L6s and a transformer would have fit and it would have been surprisingly heavy for it's size. That would make it authentic.
Hey maybe LDS can make me one. 4x8"s w/Fender Showman or Bassman 100w guts crammed in. Make it a hair larger in every dimension but really gig functional. Hmmmm.....

About that picture, what bass amps are you seeing again?
