Ampeg SVT PRO-4. PROS AND CONS.

Let me refresh the topic a little bit:
Does SVT4 Pro have that low cut/high pass filter build in, like some Genz Benz amps. I am not sure if I named it correctly. Its a unit that filters out all of not needed, to low frequencies that strain the speakers and the amp, which one can not hear.

No, not the way your proably thinking. There is a crossover setting that can be adjusted to set the frequency going to the cabs when bi-amp, but nothing in the active EQ that will cut them in a standard set up. If you plan to bi-amp the signal by using the two power amps -- then you can use the frequency and balance to harmonize the hi's and lows.
