Hello.

I have an svt-vr amp and I'm having problems with standby switch/mode. It started with standby switch not working. Power switch was okay, the led illuminating red. Standby switch didn't make the change - the led didn't turn green and the fan didn't start up, there was no noise from speakers either - it was like a dead switch. I tried cables and replaced power chord with another one and the amp worked. I was like
Later I hooked up my other amp with my box, then after some time I wanted to light up svt-vr again. I messed up with cables and forgot to connect speakon with box. I turn power switch on, let it warm up, then standby. It was the same case - the amp was still in standby mode no matter the standby switch position. I immediately turned stdby switch in "down" position, then I turned off the amp.
Next day I turned it up and it worked, no problem. Now today it's the same situation again; I can't turn it up. Can someone help me, please? :help:

sounds like a warranty issue. my svt II was doing it last year and i had all my input and effects loop jacks replaced and it worked fine until a few weeks ago. same symptoms as last time - standby mode was coming on while playing through it. happened at a gig, too! anyway, i'll let you know what it was when i get it back this week.
