Ampeg SVT Suite - CPU Usage

I know I'm late to the party:) I am digging into my bass sound for recording and started remixing a track that I recorded with the SVT7-Pro. I really loved the tone of that amp. But after fixing it once and reading about all the problems others were having, I sold it and replaced it with the Ampeg PF-50T. After hearing that SVT7-Pro tone again while remixing, I started thinking about buying another SVT7-pro as I did read that the more recent/current one's have a new chip that supposedly solved the problem. Anyway, I stumbled on the SVT Suite and just downloaded the trial. I can say that I was able dial in the SVT tone that I love and the plugin does have lots of options. The one huge downside is the CPU usage. On the track I'm remixing, I'm using superior drummer 3 with imported drum tracks, 3 rhythm guitars, 2 lead guitar parts, a solo guitar track, lead vocals and 5 backing vocal tracks with lots of plugins. Normally this song with all the tracks and plugins runs at about 60% CPU utilization. When I turn the SVT Suite on for one bass track, it jumps from 60% to 79%. That's a huge amount for one plugin. Even if I turn off the cabinet and effects sections and just leave the amp, its still at 79%. It seems odd to me that turning 2 of the 3 off has no effect on the CPU usage. I really like this plugin, but not sure I can afford a plugin that hogs this much CPU. Has anyone found options or ways in the plugin to reduce the CPU utilization? Appreciate the help. Thanks

I did a quick test by creating a project with 1 bass track and no other plugins but the SVT Suite. When I play the one track song without the SVT Suite plugin, the CPU is at 3%. When I turn on the SVT Suite, it jumps to 27%. Seems they overlooked something when they were developing this:(

Thanks for the idea. I've updated my motherboard with the latest firmware, A/D Converter has the latest firmware, using the latest Windows 10 version and the latest live version. LatencyMon says my computer is fine. My DAW is from PCAudioLabs and was tuned by them. I've since disabled additional services. Adding this plugin to this particular track does cause dropouts. As I stated, this track already has a ton of waves plugins and I could easily add more, but when I add the ampeg plugin, it causes problems. For me it appears to be something with this plugin or with the way this plugin works within Live, since it caused the CPU to spike 20%, when it was the only plugin in a test project I created.
