Ampeg SVT Suite - User Impressions?

Looking to see if anyone has been using Ampeg SVT Suite, and their overall impressions of the software. I downloaded the trial version, and after trying it out a few days pulled the trigger on the total package (before I got wind of the 50% off survey savings :roflmao:).

Note this is my first foray into specialized bass recording software ... in times past I'd rely on a somewhat complex effects signal chain to the interface to achieve the tone I was looking for.

Understand from other posts I've seen that the Suite is relatively expensive and many other earlier offerings pretty much cover similar ground. From my user perspective, it has a great deal of flexibility and features, and the many head/cab/mic configurations offer very pleasing range of characteristics and tonal possibility. I will say that SVT Suite makes a great demand on the CPU, so for me, working with a relatively normal laptop, it helps a lot to render bass tracks processed thru the app to audio in order to free up processing power.

I just downloaded the trial version today and have been comparing it to Helix Native. The ampeg models in Native sound similar to the Ampeg Suite. However the high frequency in the Ampeg Suite are much smoother and over all I think sounds better. Not by much. Enough that I'll probably end up buying it. Not so much because it sounds that much better, its just a lot easier and faster to dial in good sounds with the Ampeg Suite.
