Ampeg svt3pro

Looking at a Ampeg svt3pro with a 6x10 Ampeg-cl cabinet. Pros and Cons?
I played one for 20yrs thru a Peavey 4x10. Loved it, and my son plays it today. Didn’t like the graphic, so kept it bypassed. Changed tubes twice, and adjusted mosfet bias once. That’s a very touchy job, so get a tech to do it if you’re not so inclined. Enjoy.....

The 3 pro is still my favorite sounding bass head of all time. They're a super reliable workhorse amp with enough power for pretty much any stage. Just have to make sure you put the level fader on the graphic up all the way to get the full power out of it. They're not a super light class D amp, but not all that heavy either especially compared to an SVT CL.

The Ampeg 610 is known for having huge low end, similar to the 410hlf which I think has the same depth as the 610. The depth makes the Ampeg 610 not very compact, but its part of the huge sound. And the way Ampeg cabs handle a bit of dirt/drive is just *chefs kiss* After using a 410+210 for years I wish I just had a 610. I will say if I was going to buy a 610 cab today it would definitely be a Berg NV610.
