Ampeg svx software

What does everyone think of it?

Used it a loooong time ago. I'm not a big fan of amp emulation (bass or guitar) but I think it's ok.
I find myself lost on the mix depending on the material I'm working with, too many phase issues with "Mix" control, don't like the way the stompboxes emulation sounds… it's just a nice software but not my cup of tea.

I like the Fender TBP-1 preamp emulation better but I use it mostly with the cab bypassed.

Jfever,

I used it on and off for a few years. I think that it does the Ampeg thing pretty well, especially for home recording purposes. That being said, I think that Overloud's Mark Studio 2 is a much better product. I find that there is a larger variety in the tones, and I found the tones easier to fit into a mix. I love the sound of the Mark Studio 2 so much that I use my computer for all of my practicing, which I swore I would never do. I can't recommend that software enough!
