I know there has been conversations about this topic before, but I have looked at all the links for tolex recommended by users, most over two years ago, and wondered if there are any new outlets? I have two 810E cabinets to re-cover and I would like to use the original material.

The original Ampeg black vinyl is not available.

A good alternative is Marshall Black Levant

I saw an older SVT 810 cabinet that was seriously road worn with lots of battle scars. Sorry I don't have pics but the owner removed all the hardware, ripped off all the tolex, sanded down slightly then coated with spray on bed liner. The best looking Ampeg cab I have ever seen.

I used a "Black Bronco" material to recover my V4 215, not exact, but looks great!
