ampeg v-4

I just bought a vintage ampeg v-4, i love the sound of it! i am playing it through a 4x10 peavey cabinet. would it sound better through an ampeg cabinet,or should i stick with the peavey.

I don't know about the peavy so I can't comment but if the v-4 sounds the way I've been told it will definitively sounds good through a classic ampeg cab.

These amps can sound good through just about any cab, but if (when) you find yourself needing more volume, you'll probably find that a large 6x10, 810 or 2x15 cab will help a bunch. I use a Bergantino NV610 with my V4.

Boy I'd like to try my V4 thru either a NV610 or their 2x15.

Played my v4 through an Acoustic 406 (2x15) cab. It was a thing of beauty...loud, clear and punchy.

What kind of Peavey? and also I've seen a lot of people here on talkbass combining Berg's with the V-4 and other tube amps
