I dropped off my V-4 a little while ago with my tech. Between what you told me and everything I know about the amp we're currently thinking it's in the power supply.

This thread may date back to 2014, which was a pretty good year for me, but I have to say that the high resolution pics posted by beans-on-toast helped immensely. I am rebuilding a badly abuse V-4B, and it was starting to feel like doomsday for awhile. Thank you for the excellent schematics and high resolution pictures. I'm glad to be a part of this group.
