Are you saying 7-8 out of 10 on the dial, or 7-8 O'clock?

On the dial-sorry, turned up to 7-8 on the dial! from a clock perspective, that wouldve been about 2

My guess is that if at the same Gain, Vol settings you engage the grit circuit, it could get much louder?

Or it's just the taper of the potentiometer they use.

Yes indeed. Didnt like the grit circuit however, so you would need dial out the grit effect. the b15 setting was lovely

I felt if one doesnt care for the grit circuit probably should move on.. the videos i saw were great pre buy.

Sadly I returned the Ampeg head after this cabling drama and Manns music had the nerve to refund me all but £5 for sending it back, knowing I forked out for cabling and plugs, and shipping.. You would think as the issue stemmed directly from their lack of product knowledge and mention of the cables in their product specs, they would have the heart to atleast refund me the full amount. Wont shop there again. Trying to delete my above recommendation.
