amplified pad for feeling bass?

There are. I believe Buttkicker is one of the brands. You attach a transducer to some sort of platform and power it with an amp. Honestly, it only works so-so in my experience (stage setups with in ears).

There is also a vest of some sort I've heard about, but never seen or tried it.

Indeed it is, also the PUMA heads are very well worth checking out. The Session Company reviewing basses and effects on Youtube uses a Puma 500 as a reference head. Nice tone, really warm, all solid state.

Example:

Sorry for the OT, just had to think of it.

I play & love a PUMA 900......sweetest little package ever!

If there is a product on the market that a person stands on to feel the thump of bass through his/her body, what is it called and how can I get one?
This is an ancient OP, but I was looking for the same thing and saw this thing called a "Bass Board" on a youtube video:

Maybe this and an in-ear would be all I need. Maybe.
