I'm trying to determine which amp to buy for my upright - but I'd like to try some before I finalize my choice. Any suggestions on where I can find some available to try in the Chicago area? I was looking primarily at AI and EA but now am considering Markbass and David Eden.

Mark at Bass Club Chicago has EA Invalid Link Removed Mark Sonksen (different Mark) right across the street has AI www.sonksenstrings.com
Take it from a fellow Marc (spelled correctly) these are both stand up guys.
