Looks better than the SP1 to me. Has active only electronics as far as I can tell and no other info on specs. But at that price, it's certainly worth keeping an eye on.

The scales and the pickups don't look like Dingwall at all. Might be good, can't tell that from appearance alone, but I doubt it'll play or sound like a Dingwall.

The SP-1 is only 35" at the low end. Some may want the benefit on the low strings without the reduced scale of the top strings.

My Ibanez is similar. 35.5"-34" and I really like it setup that way. Mild fan but solid B.

Their IG says 35.5-25.5.

Clearly wrong, but if we trust the longer spec, I'd bet 35.5"-34" like the Ibanez Soundgears.

Maple body means they'll probably be pretty heavy.

Based on the ridiculous scale length provided, I don't know if I trust any of the other specs. In particular, I don't know why you'd go with separate body and top woods on a bass with a solid finish? I'm sure all will be revealed in time.

I believe it could be 34'-35' scale.

Maybe the string spacing can be fine tune, look like an adjustable saddle lock there.

Tagima Rupture - Scale is 34 / 35.5"

There are 2 Ruptures. The one from the video you have posted is from the Brazil Series, which is hand made in Brazil and a lot more expensive, it uses 2 soap bars for pickups and all brazilian woods.

Now there is this Unique Series, which is new. Those are all build in China, I don't remeber which uses the Rupture Unique uses, other than the neck which is Roasted Maple and has 2 MM style pickups.

Thanks for the clarification - I'm only aware on a surface level of the Tagima brand.

Gotta say both the Predator 5 and Rupture Mdouble models look very interesting - would love to test drive both if I get the chance.

I see that GC carries the Tagima brand, but I don't believe I've even seen any Tagima basses at my local GC.

I'll be keeping an eye out for these with much interest.
