Analogman Standard Chorus vs/ Mini Chorus

Is there any sacrifice in terms of sound/effect quality between the Standard and the Mini Analogman Chorus? I don't see why there would be, but I want to be sure before plunking down that kind of cash.

I think they're both just copies of an EHX Small Clone if I remember correctly.

If my memory serves me correctly, they are both the exact same pedal, just different sizes.

they are, but they sound way better IMO.

i got the mini with the fixed deep setting. have not eyed up any other chorus since i got it, and that was over a year ago.

The standard has the "deep" switch option. The mini-chorus does not. However, they will build you a mini with a fixed "deep" option.

I would advise getting the "deep" option for bass.

I am pretty sure that I am going with the Mini-Chorus with the fixed "deep" option and the blend knob.

There is a internal blend control on the mini,,,, personally I prefer that, one less knob to worry that it moved.

BTW I have the Mini w/deep setting,,Love it.

I hear ya. But a trim pot inside the box won't work wit me, I like tweaking the knobs, while playing, you know?

A part of me is still considering the idea of the Bi-Chorus, so I can have two individual settings, but I haven't been able to justify the extra cash!

The Deep Toggle option is outstanding IMO and worth getting. It gives it SO many additional tone options. In addition. it also allows the pedal to sound equally great with bass or guitar. I got this option vs the smaller footprint of the Mini. I'm REALLY glad I did! Either way, these are indeed the best choruses on the market.....
