and now, iTunes 10

Thought I updated to v.10 and was wondering what the hell you all were complaining about. Turns out it's still v.9(.2.1.5). Judging by this here thread I won't be updating and seeing as how I'd be happy with a used iPod Touch myself,...I'll continue to use v.9.

I just downloaded it this morning, and I'm beyond unimpressed.:crying:

First off, some of my album art is not showing up now, and I'm having to add it back in.

Also, in the song list view with album art, you need at least 5 songs to make enough room to display the album art.

Click on the View tab, and select "Always show album art".

Now, if you want to see the album art at the size you want, you'll have to stick with the mini-player.

So remember how I asked if they could make iTunes 10 any more unfunctional?

Well, they just did...iTunes 10.1! It's like Apple was saying: "Hey, how can we fix this and make it worse?"

I swear, I feel like this is late 2007 and Microsoft Office just came out with a new edition...

Dude, I was just about to get 10.1 on my notebook. Won't do it anymore, thanks for that.

EDIT: Does anyone here know where can I download the latest version of 9?

Uploaded to the lastest (10.1), not really any different, works just fine with all of my Apple devices. Definitely not enough difference to get your panties in a bunch over.

I also have no interest in Ping, just don't sign up for it...tada.

I want to go back to 9 but I forgot that iTunes libraries can't be recognized by previous versions and I don't want to go through the trouble of having to rebuild my library from the xml file since last time I tried I almost lost everything. I'll deal with the lameness of 10 for now. I hope that they bring back some color though... I hate grey.
