Double Bass Angle of the neck/fingerboard

I bought an used ¾ double bass, it's nice and sounds good. But I have noticed the the angle of the neck/fingerboard is different from my older ¾ bass. Measuring the height of the bridge on both basses, the bridge of the old one is 16 cm hight. And the height of the bridge of the new one is 14 cm.
I ask: how much this height difference can affect the bass sound.
I bought that bass from a luthier and he made some modifications I asked him to do. It would be advisable I ask him to change the angle of the arm?

14 cm is quite low. Can you measure the overstand and post it? That is the distance between the top and the underside of the fingerboard, measured at the end of the heel. How much playing with the bow do you do currently? You may have trouble with bow clearance over the c bouts with a bridge that short.
