I couldn't see it in the thread, I had to right click, copy the address, and then put it in a new tab or window.
I started this thread! The idea was people would give me advice on what I should do performance-wise about my little problem.
People hijacked the thread though and now it's turned into a 'show off animated pics' threads.
What web browser do you use? Most browsers have plug-ins aka add-ons. See if you can find one that stops/pauses animated gifs.

I use Internet Explorer. I don't think it has a blocker for animation on otherwise I couldn't use sites like YouTube or even Talkbass (the smilies and stuff I mean),
No, not quite. Cause what you want is a plug-in to pause or not show animated gifs (cause that's the only image file I know of that can be animated). YouTube videos and those things are flash videos. Check out Mozilla FireFox, it may have what you're looking for.
Do you have a pic for everything? As long as you don't post a pic of a certain someone who shall remain nameless then it's cool......

Internet Explorer has an option to turn off animations. It's located in "Internet Options" under the "Advanced" tab.

And by a certain someone, I believe this would be in order.....
