I hear that 'ol Pat has a side hustle flipping burgers with Elvis on the South side of Tupelo, maybe you might want to take a drive down that way?

I honestly cant tell if you are crazy or have an extremely dry sense of humor. I think its funny up to the part where you called me.I wanna know who this Pat Pending guy is and how he gets his name on all the cool new stuff, yet nobody knows who the hell he (or she) is, like does he do all his stuff in an abandoned factory in Detroit or in the Bat Cave, does he eat Wheaties for breakfast, I mean you'd think there would at least be a Wikipedia entry on him, given how prolific he is, and nobody wants to talk about him either. I mean I call Ray Ross on the phone and I say, "Hey, Ray, - That's Mr. Ross to you - Oh, yeah, sorry Mr. Ross, tell me about this Pat Pending guy you're collaborating with" and Mr. frickin' Ross just hangs up. Just hangs up! Can you believe it? It's a conspiracy, like, everyone knows, but nobody's sayin', they just roll their eyes, like, this cat just ain't hip. Well I gotta go put up little signs on trees and lampposts asking if anyone has information on Pat Pending, if any of you guys know anything, don't be shy, you can just post it here or shoot me a PM, OK?

You have never called me, and if you did I would not have said that to you. Lets be honest here and maybe we can have a conversation. Be honest.
Its ok, i can appreciate a dry sense of humor.. You can call me "Mr. TheRayRoss"Sorry if I caused you some discomfort there, Mr. Ross, er, Ray.
Nice bridge, best of luck with it, OK?
I think I'm going to follow the wisdom of Richard Feynman and reserve judgement until I play something that has one i

I love minimalistic designs, this one looks fine.
I didn't get why people are adamant about having extra length between the witness point and the anchor.
It may not be as visually satisfying as a plain slice of identical wrapping all along the instrument but it works just fine.
Look at exposed core strings for example. The exposed part at the end doesn't negatively affect intonation.
Then I though again that I never buy exposed core precisely because I don't like the unclean way it looks at the end.
I also remembered that I make a point of only buying top loading bridges, which are more convenient than traditional designs for string change.
I don't like protruding parts either, they can hurt your hand during long sessions.

I think it's a very interesting design that could use further development and I don't care if H.Noble did someting that barely looked like it 10 years ago. The guy comes with ideas by the minute so he's already tested pretty much everything possible.

Happy to do so. I have never joined a forum before, so bear with me. So many threads, quotes, messages, alerts, flags, and prizes. I will do my best. Should i start a new thread? Or go back to the beginning? How about addressing some of the genuine concerns or criticisms raised in the thread?
I dont know who h. Noble is but thank you.I love minimalistic designs, this one looks fine.

You can find my bridge through Ap international. They also do all things Floyd Rose. They havent finished the web page for my bridge yet. You just hafta call and ask for kate. 139-172 depending on finish.@TheRayRoss - do you have an MSRP for your bridge yet. I'm intrigued enough that I think I might want to budget for getting one depending on the cost.
Twenty minutes with one installed on a bass would tell me everything I needed to know - and save hours and many words otherwise spent on simply speculating about it.
I will do my best to answer legitimate questions.. There was some guy named "hunch" who had lots of rocks to throw a couple days ago, but offered very little along the way of "real question" Dont get me wrong, i can argue with anybody, but does it help? Probly not. Just so you guys know:Here is probably best. All in one place and not too deep in the pages.
