I kinda feel bad because I feel like I'm somewhat trolling but I have a dilemma of sorts.
I'm able to get another SX since I got promoted at my job to full time and I've narrowed it down to 2 options:
1.) Kurt will sell me a pink short scale P-Bass for $85 shipped since I don't need all of that stuff that comes in the bass package.
OR
2.) I can get one of those SX Ursa short scale Jaguar Basses.
If I was to get the P-Bass, I eventually wanted to make it a P/J bass. I love the fact it's pink...I'd paint the pickguard black instantaneously, and I love the price as well.
-BUT-
My apprehensions are :
-I already have a P-Bass
-I don't know if the neck would even be playable. I had a red SX P-Bass that came in one of those package deals and the neck was horrible. But then again for $85, does it really matter how good the neck is??
That's why I was leaning towards the Jaguar style bass...But I hate that headstock and I'm very lukewarm towards the sunburst finish...I'm just not a fan of that finish..I find it so "blah"...
Kurt told me he won't be getting in any lefty Jaguar basses in Green or Red until late 2012...
Idk, what do you guys think I should do? And don't say "Buy a Squier, etc." I need a left handed short scale bass. My baby-sized fingers can't do a normal sized bass!
