Another Boring "NBD" Thread-Warmoth Project

Just wanted to show off my latest Warmoth build, which turned out awesome. It's a lefty Jazzmaster IV. I don't see too many of these out and about yet.

Alder body, Fralin pickups. I had a Fender-esque 70s style decal made for the headstock. Slim taper neck. Sounds and plays great. The pic doesn't do the mint green guard and cream pickup covers justice. They really look cool together in real life.

Thanks :) By the way, I've done several projects like this and I always do my own assemblies and setup.
Has anyone here ever done a project like this where you got all the parts and paid someone to assemble it? What does just the assembly part of it cost?

Very tasty build! I love their finishes - I did a Jazz bass 2 years ago in CAR as well with matching headstock and it's absolutely killer.

I have 5 Warmoths that I had my tech assemble completely. I'm sure I could do it eventually, but I know I could never come up to his level of knowledge and ability so it was totally worth it. The cost is a function of time, so here in New York City the current rate is around $100/hr. I have used this particular tech exclusively for years so we have a great business relationship and I got a lot for my money. I would say expect to pay several hundred dollars. I would also say you should expect top caliber work for that - it should look and feel like it came out of a boutique shop.

I put my pro assembled Warmoths on a build par with any of the top names (or Custom Shop) and they are not only a joy to play but they sound amazing and are exactly what I want soup to nuts.

Thanks for that info. I've been curious about that.
