Hi from Phil the Bass Player. I'm also from Chicago and have lurked for months--looking at gear reviews, reading opinions and trying to form my own.

Epiphone Elitist Thunderbird 2005 bass (like it a lot)
1980 MIJ Jazz Bass
Hartke 2500 head
Yorkville XC115 cab
Yorkville XC210 cab
Sansamp Bass DI (the best)
