Another Cool Sandberg Demo

I think they turned out badass. They look just like the old Sabres that Rudy Sarzo used to play in the Blizzard of Oz band

I don't need any other instruments. But if everything I have burned down or was stolen, I do think I might run out and buy a VM-5 and see if I actually needed anything else. Maybe even a white one with a maple neck like that one.

This is the only bass I have GAS for. With the right options, it might be perfect in every way. I think I would do the same if I lost everything.

I'm lucky enough to have 2 VM5s. Got them both within the last year or so. I've gotta tell you guys, I've never bonded with basses as quickly as I've bonded with these 2. At least 1, if not both, will go to EVERY gig I play from here on out. Warwick craftsmanship, applied to the Fender or Musicman vibe. I did some customization on them to make them look like old Musicman Sabres. The white one was originally all tort, and the black one was originally all black. Put metal control plates on both, bought a Pearl PG from Sandberg, and switched some parts around.

What is the neck finish on them? What's the string spacing at the bridge. I was under the impression that they were 18mm.
