Hope you are ok after your injury.Checking in after a long time away. Moving and an injury will hold you up unfortunately.
I was looking at my cab and realized how scraped and dinged up its gotten over the past year and a half and got to wondering how every one else were holding up and if any one else has built one. The B&C Driver is still the same price from partsexpress.com, which is surprising because it seems like most other neo speakers went up.
My two still look great. There might be a little ding here and there in the Duratex, but not enough for me to touch it up. They sound great and I smile whenever I lift them.
Glad to see you back.
BTW, Leland Crooks from speakerhardware.com had asked about making a flatpack kit available for the cabinet. You probably saw that in your PMs. Give him a shout---he just wanted your OK.
Its good to be back
I wouldn't mind at all if they made the kits available. The way I see it is, the information was put out for people to use and it makes no difference if people cut the wood at home, have a cabinet shop do it or have a website send a kit. I just hope if they do, that the kit is well executed.
I'm guessing if there were Pm's, they are lost since its been so long since I've logged on. Sorry about that, but I was re learning how to walk.
This looks fun!
Knowing exactly zero about speaker cabinet design. If you wanted to make this into a 4ohm 2x12 design, could you simply just double the sides, etc?
Or would you have to do it kind of like two separate interior spaces, divided in the middle with either 1/2" or 3/4" plywood?

This looks like a great project that would fill my needs really well. I've read the thread and apologize if I missed this. I saw the cut sheet but are there any actual plans available? My two still look great. There might be a little ding here and there in the Duratex, but not enough for me to touch it up.
